  • Licensed clinical social workers offer convenient hours at six locations in the Greater Baton Rouge area
  • Counseling provided for people of all ages for personal, marital and family problems 
  • Your goals might include stress reduction, problem resolution, better job performance, healthier relationships, improved communication and others, depending on the needs of you and your family.
  • Referrals encouraged from Catholic churches and other faith groups for members of their congregations.

Strengthening Families for Parents and Youth 10 - 14 

Do you want to help your children succeed, avoid drugs and alcohol, and develop a positive relationship with you? Catholic Charities offers Strengthening Families Program to help parents and youth 10—14. In this scientifically-proven, 7-week program, families will:

  •  Grow closer and decrease the likelihood of family conflict and risky behavior 
  • Parents learn how to show love while setting limits and build on family strengths
  • Youth develop skills to handle peer pressure and build a positive future

Senior Care Outreach

Aging can be difficult. You and your family may be dealing with the stresses of caregiving, housing issues, declining health, loss of independence, and more. These challenges can be overwhelming for you and your loved ones. Catholic Charities can help. 

  • Low cost individual, family and group therapy at convenient locations by licensed clinical social workers
  • Help with care planning, housing decisions and end-of-life concerns
  • Educational workshops on grief, loss and coping skills
  • Referrals to community resources, including support groups
