Catholic Charities announces $350,000 in grants to support rural families with children in preschool

Downtown Way of the Cross set for Good Friday

Catholic Charities Diocese of Baton Rouge, St. Vincent de Paul and St. Joseph Cathedral will host their annual Downtown Way of the Cross Good Friday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The procession begins at St. Joseph Cathedral, travels a 14-station route throughout the State Capitol grounds, returning to the steps of the Cathedral. CCDBR holds annual meeting

On February 13, 2019, Catholic Charities Diocese of Baton Rouge staff, volunteers and board members celebrated the agency’s accomplishments of the past year, highlighted plans for the future and announced two awards. Gerri Hobdy, CCDBR Board Chair, presided over the event, and Bishop Michael Duca opened with a prayer.
